RAPHAEL is a 4-year EU-supported Integrated Project.
A consortium of 33 partners from 10 countries started work on 15 April 2005, with an overall budget of more than 19 M€ and a 9 M€ funding by the Euratom Community.

The project is in line with the strategy elaborated by the European HTR-Technology Network.
